B16 SCC Childcare Night Course

This childcare course is designed for students interested in working with children. It is a part-time equivalent of our popular SCC Childcare fulltime day course.

Students learn about the practices and procedures involved in taking care of children.

Work experience is an integral part of this course and ideally, applicants should already be working in a recognised childcare environment where they can do their work placement.

Those students not already working in such a setting will be obliged to find their own placement. Applicants who have completed Garda vetting procedures within the last 3 years must be able to provide evidence of this at interview.
