2006: 1981 Past Pupils 25 Year Reunion:
On the 23rd March 2006 students who graduated having completed their Leaving Certificate in the College in 1981 returned for their 25-year reunion. About 50 students came, travelling from all over Ireland and even from Italy.
Food and drinks were served in the staff room and there was much catching up to do. A number of teachers also attended including Sr Maura (Magdalene), Marie Mortimer, Brian Oman, Mary and Joe O'Dwyer, and Denise Guiney.
While many of the past students had changed a lot others were very much the same, just 25 years older. Photographs were taken, old photos of their Debs and College organised hikes were shown around, and some had other mementos of their time here.
The staff room in the College was the venue for the first two hours of the reunion. Then the past pupils moved on to a local pub. There the catching up continued until way into the night. Everyone agreed that the reunion was a great success. Caroline Jones and Mary Sheridan organised the event, and we are all very grateful to them for all their hard work.
