This course offers a good foundation in business, office and administration studies. The varied and rewarding programme provides the student with the opportunity to gain an understanding of business and to develop a wide range of the skills needed to secure employment and work in a modern office environment. The student may also continue in education by progressing to higher level courses.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

Five O6/H7 grades in Leaving Certificate/LCVP or a merit in Leaving Certificate Applied or QQI Level 4 Certificate.  The academic entry requirements may be waived for mature applicants (21+).

CERTIFICATION

QQI Level 5 Certificate in Office Administration 5M1997

PROGRESSION

Graduates may progress to courses in Higher Education Institutions on a competitive basis through the QQI Common Awards System (CAS). For information on the scheme see Higher Education Links Scheme.

Graduates with a merit profile may apply for entry to BTEC Higher National Diploma Courses in BCFE.
