FETAC Level 5 graduates are eligible to apply to FETAC Level 6 courses (where available). Graduates may also apply to BTEC Higher National Diploma courses in BCFE (Merit profile required).
They may also apply to progress to Higher Education Institutions through the Higher Education Links Scheme and through the Pilot Scheme (see FETAC website and individual College prospectuses for details).
FETAC Level 6 courses are designed to facilitate entry to the appropriate area of work at supervisory level.

Graduates of the BTEC National Diploma (merit profile) are eligible to progress
to BTEC Higher National Diploma courses in Media in BCFE, and to first year of degree courses in the UK.

Holders of BTEC Higher National Diplomas may gain entry to second or third year in certain Institutes of Technology depending on subject match and academic achievement. They may also continue their studies in the UK System, sometimes gaining exemption from one or two years of degree courses.
This is a one-year progression course for students who have successfully completed a Higher National Diploma in a Media-related area.
This is a two-year progression course for students who have successfully completed a Higher National Diploma in Animation
Graduates of the BA in Media Production Management progress to post graduate studies in DCU, TCD, NUIM, DIT and in universities in the UK.
Graduates of the Animation Degree may progress to appropriate post-graduate courses.
