The College is equipped to a high standard with computers and the relevant software necessary for the delivery of the various courses. The Minister for Education in February 2006 opened a new purpose-built Media building. It contains state-of-the-art television studios and editing facilities, performance space, computer rooms, etc.
A resource room/study area is available during College hours, containing relevant publications, journals, newspapers, college prospectuses etc. More information on the Resource Library

The student canteen is open from 8.30 a.m. to 2.30 p.m. and provides breakfast, sandwiches, rolls, soups, salads and pastries, snacks, hot and cold drinks etc.
Open for student queries from 9.00-12.30 am and 2.00 – 3.30 pm daily. All student forms (e.g. Social Welfare, Grant Forms, USIT etc.) and requests for letters must be left in the main office in person two days in advance.
No phone calls/messages can be taken in the office for students.
A limited number of lockers in the Main Building and Art Building are available for student use. A fee of €10 is payable. €5 is refundable on returning the lock and key at the end of the year. Contact the Head Porter in the Main Building and Art Building.
A state of the art Sports complex located on Le Fanu Road (including gym, fitness centre, 25m swimming pool, aerobics studio and 5 astro turf playing pitches) is available to students at a reduced rate for the academic year. The College has representative teams, which participate in VEC competitions.
Art materials are available for purchase up to 1.00pm in the entrance to Studio One, Art Building. Stationery is also on sale in the college Canteen.
