Why choose this course?
If you are a computer games enthusiast, interested in games design and analysis and would like to pursue a career in the exciting and expanding games development industry, then this course is for you. This course introduces you to software such as Maya for 3D modelling, Photoshop and Unity that enables the production of game content.
You will develop the fundamental digital and transferable skills to allow you to progress to further and higher education. Above all, the ethos of this course is to learn by practicing and enhancing your skills week by week.
Successful graduates have progressed onto Advanced Games Production and Design Level 6 (DGH) or the Web Design – Advanced App & Web UI/UX Level 6 (DMH) here at BCFE.

What do you need to apply?
- Five O6/H7 in Leaving Certificate/LCVP or a Merit in Leaving Certificate Applied, or a relevant QQI Level 4 Certificate. Evidence of good computer literacy and a knowledge of computer game styles should be brought to the interview.
- The academic entry requirements may be waived for mature applicants (21+).
