ADT Sculpture Books Exhibition, Ballyfermot Library, until end Jan 2019

See your favourite stories come alive with “Sculptures Books” on display at Ballyfermot Library. We are delighted to announce this exhibition coincides with the ending of celebrations of 70th year of Ballyfermot Community and will mark the first event in celebration 40 years of Ballyfermot College of Further Education.

“Sculpture Books” made by students on the Art Design & Third Dimension studies program at Ballyfermot College of Further Education

ADT is a long established one-year art portfolio course, preparing students for entry to a Level 8 course in art & design. The work has been made in association with the Dublin Book festival and was first showcased in Smock Ally Theater as part of their Book festival. We are thrilled to have the opportunity to show the work again. Each of the students has responded to their favorite stories, or to their relationship with books in their own unique way. It has resulted in some delightful and magical sculptures. The exhibition runs until the end of January.
