This course explores a variety of printmaking processes and associated techniques including Intaglio printmaking, Dry point, two plate etching, Mono printing, Lino printing. This 12-week course offers the learner the opportunity to explore this process and it’s endlessly creative and practical applications.
Exploring a variety of traditional and non- traditional techniques such as Inking & hand printing. Also printing on our Rochad / etching press-printing press. Explore printmaking, creatively gathering materials and surfaces. Including handmade printmaking papers. This course offers demonstrations, group work, individual tuition and feedback. On completion of this 12-week course each learner will have a comprehensive understanding of the printmaking process, demonstrated in a body of print works b / w and colour. Experimental and finished prints.
NO PRIOR EXPERIENCE NECESSARY. IDEAL FOR THOSE WISHING TO ADD TO THEIR CREATIVE PRACTICE.
