Good Luck to Richie Baneham for 3rd Oscar Nomination
Richie Baneham was nominated last week for his possible third Oscar for his ground breaking and innovative visual effects on Avatar: Fire and Ash. Richie has been the Visual effects Supervisor on all the Avatar movies and won an oscar for Visual Effects for both Avatar and Avatar: The Way of Water.
Richie is a graduate of City of Dublin FET College Ballyfermot and the staff and students are very proud of his achievements. As a community we are hoping that he will win his Third Oscar 15th of March 2026.
