Shireen Langan Career Choice

BCFE Radio Student Alumni Shireen Langan “Rethinking her Career Choice”?

BCFE Radio Student Alumni Shireen Langan “Rethinking her Career Choice”?

It’s the time of year when people are especially thinking about career choices.

Our very own Shireen has been doing likewise, but in a fun way.

Shireen studied on the 2 Year Radio course and then completed the Media Management Degree

Recently promoted to her own 5 day a week show on 98FM, Shireen will also now be heard on Spin 103.8 and will be also broadcasting live from the Longitude festival.

In a fun 98FM Instagram post “When You start rethinking your career choice” Shireen and 98FM shared a recent live on air moment when she just couldn’t complete her 20K Cash Machine link. Naturally it’s not reflective of the consummate professional she is.

Shireen had he own Talk Show on FM104 whilst still a student in BCFE and wrote a book on Podcasting which students here got a signed copy of.

Shireen is a regular visitor to and guest lecturer to the radio course and this year did a joint lecture with her former fellow classmate and friend 2FM’s Beta DaSilva, both are on 5 days a week and thankfully their shows go back to back on their respective stations, so no rivalry.

Many other BCFE Radio students are on those stations on air and in production and management roles and if you’re after that Cash Machine prize do note it’s presented across all Bauer stations by another 98FM Presenter and BCFE Radio Student Alumni, Barry Dunne.
